Tuesday

In progress...

I know it's been a few days since I've posted some actual artwork. I'm in the process of creating some new things and getting some older things organized. I've got big plans and I hope to show sneak peeks if not full releases in the next few days.

Between the plethora of supplies I've received and the inspiration I've been finding on Pinterest and various blogs with CHA releases, I'm on overload for ideas!

I hope you'll stick around and check back. It'll be worth it. I promise.

Thursday

They're hereeeeeeeee!

They. Are. Here.

I am so excited! It's been nearly two weeks since I ordered these bad boys and I can't wait to bust them open and have some fun with some of my favorite stamps!

I've also recently received an order from the amazing Papertrey Ink and so I've got even more cool supplies to play with!

I've got lots of things in the works for the Shop and I'm really excited with the way that things are going. While at times they can seem overwhelming and time-consuming, I don't think I'd have it any other way!

I hope you'll come back and see all the fun I have planned!

Sentiments & Patterns

One thing that I focus on when making cards is having a variety of patterns, colors and sentiments. I'm a firm believer that a good set of cards is an essential "must-have" and so I try really hard to always create a variety of styles, even if using one core set of supplies.

This is evident in the set of cards I've listed today in the Etsy Shop. While the papers all came from the same line, the sentiments and styles are all over the place! These are some of my favorite cards that I've created!

Continuing with the line of cards posted yesterday...

Thank You:

Nothing Better

And then my most recent set of favorites, still using Echo Park papers...

It's Your Day

With Gratitude

You Are So Nice

Thank You

I'm not sure if it's the variety of stamps that I used, the combination of papers, or the embellishments like buttons, twine and gems, but I just *love* the way these cards turned out!

Be sure to check out all the cre8ive fun things in my Etsy Shop!

I've got a couple other "sets" of coordinating cards to list and tomorrow a fabulous package should arrive with new supplies that I can't wait to get my hands on!

Thanks for stopping by...and be sure to tell a friend!

Saturday

Echo Park Goodness!

Hey all!

I've spent the past few days working on a few new series of cards all created from co-ordinating lines of patterned paper. My source this time around has been Echo Park. I love their products...they always have such adorable patterns and their color schemes are just flawless.

I'm in the process of listing all of them, but here's a peek at three of them.

Enjoy Life

Wishing You Well

You can check them all out in my Etsy Shop, or by clicking on the names of the individual cards. There will be lots more coming soon, so be sure to check back.

Have a great weekend!

Every Crafter's Necessity

Last week I shared my excitement about some of the products I had recently ordered from Papertrey Ink. They have some amazing stuff [especially the release coming out this month!] and I couldn't wait to get to work using it.

Introducing the product that every crafter [card maker, scrapbooker, doodler] needs

Oh that's right, I made an inspiration journal // idea book // mini to take with you since inspiration really is everywhere. Here's the direct link to the listing in my Etsy Shop. Lots more details there. I can see myself making a few of these!

I also added the remaining cards from my failed [for the moment] attempt at Operation Write Home.

Love

I miss you so much

Thanks

I'm currently in the middle of an online class that is providing me with a boatload of inspiration so I'm sure that I'll have lots more cards and projects coming soon.

Be sure to check back!

Monday

Sunday

Awesome outlet!

Hey crafty friends!

So while searching and scheming online, I happened to find an awesome project that I can't wait to be a part of! It's called Operation Write Home and the basic idea is that you create card[s] and send them to one of three ladies who sorts and organizes them. Then, they get sent overseas and soldiers get to write handwritten snail mail [my favorite!] to send home to their families. What an awesome outlet...I get to create and someone gets a handwritten letter from a loved one. Sign me up!

I'm currently in *love* with the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook line...her groups of fun patterns and bright colors make me so happy! I swiped up a bunch of pieces, cut them apart and busted out a bunch of cards to send. Paper Smooches stamp sets are perfect for this kind of project because they have so [so] many great sentiments that are perfect for cards.

[After cutting, assembling & photographing all the cards, I discovered on the official website that they prefer A2 cards. I had just made my donation cards in the 4-bar size [another current favorite] so I decided to post them all in my Etsy Shop and then I'll just make a bunch more in the right size. Happy accident I think!]

They'll all be posted within the next 24 hours...so be sure to look them up here.

As for this upcoming week, I've got several things in store!

A week or so ago, my jaw hit the floor when I saw this blog post from the amazing Nichole from Papertrey Ink. I instantly ordered nearly the whole kit and kaboodle and I can't wait to share some fun things I've created! I definitely stepped out of the box with a few things. :)

Hope you're having a great weekend. Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

Thursday

3 New Items!

Just a quick update that there are 3 new items in the Etsy Shop!

It's my hope that I'll be able to add several new items each week, [I'd say each day, but currently I'd rather focus the majority of my time on creating new pieces!]

So, listed today are the following:

For those who might not be aware, I've got a serious thing for lowercase letters...as in, I very rarely use capitals. I'm all for proper English, but when writing and stamping, I'm all about the lowercase.

If there's something special or particular you'd like to see either here or in my shop, please don't hesitate to comment or contact me...I'm always up for suggestions and ideas!

Until next time...thanks for stopping by!

Wednesday

Happy 4th!

One thing I love about today's holiday is the inspiration that can be found in the colors and symbols that are typically associated with freedom.

From amazing desserts...

...to pretty decorations...

...to fireworks of all kinds...

...to flags of all sizes...

...to the words that speak truths...

There is inspiration everywhere!

It's easy to get lost in all the deliciousness, decorations, fireworks and flags...but when it all gets boiled down, we're really pretty lucky.

Take a moment today to look around and find some inspiration! Come back soon for some more creative goodness.

Inspiration leads to ... purchase!

I've seen some pretty awesome things online recently and they're making me itch to actually purchase them!

Ahem...

Yes...I must have them. All three. After all, I am a child of the '80's...therefore, neon is a must. And, that stamp...with the little bursts that could be a flower, or a sunburst or a firework or...yes, yes, yes, I must have it as well.

I'm placing the order as we speak...and I can't wait to get them so that I can create new things for the shop. If you happen to get these awesome supplies as well...let me know what you create. Inspiration is best when shared...as are art ideas.

Thanks for stopping by...more creative goodness tomorrow!

Monday

Oh Happy Day!

Oh Happy Day ... Monday!

One creative person I'm often inspired by is Kristina Werner. She typically does a post every Monday featuring "Make A Card Monday" and I love the way she's constantly using new supplies! Today she inspired me to bust out a few new products that have just arrived via snail mail and play a little!

On this card, I've combined five different die-cuts, four patterned papers, three bold colors, two washi tapes and a fun button to create a card that is perfect for any occasion!

The inside is blank with lots of room for your personal message. More details can be seen here in my Etsy Shop. I've got several cards available, so be sure to share with a friend!
